Please note: The Apple AirTag only works in combination with an iPhone 11 or newer.

With the Apple AirTag you never have to search for your stuff for a long time again. Attach the AirTag to your keys, suitcase, bag, or even your pet's collar, and you'll instantly see its location on the map in the Find My app. There you will also find all your other Apple devices clearly organized.

Play sound

Have you lost your wallet? No problem if it has an AirTag attached. You can easily play a sound via the built-in speaker. Open the Items tab in the Find My app or say, “Hey Siri, find my wallet.” If the AirTag is nearby, for example under the couch or in the next room, the sound will lead you directly to it.

Accurate navigation

Is your AirTag nearby? Then your iPhone will help you with Precise Search. Thanks to the built-in Ultra Wideband technology, you can see exactly which direction you need to go and how far you are from your AirTag.

Helping hundreds of millions of people search

Have you lost something further from home, for example on the beach or in the gym? Then you can find it via the global Find My network, which consists of hundreds of millions of iPhones, iPads and Macs. And of course your privacy is fully protected.

How does it work?

The AirTag emits a secure Bluetooth signal that is picked up by devices on the Find My network. These send the location encrypted to iCloud, so you can see where your AirTag is on the map in the Find My app. Everything runs anonymously and efficiently — without impact on battery or data consumption.

Lost mode

You can enable Lost Mode just like with other Apple devices. As soon as your AirTag is detected by another device on the network, you will receive a notification. You can also choose to have your contact information appear when someone taps your AirTag with an NFC-enabled smartphone — the same technology used for contactless payments.

Privacy guaranteed

Only you can see the location of your AirTag. Location data and history are not stored on the AirTag itself, and all information is fully encrypted. Even Apple doesn't know where your AirTag is located or which devices help track it.

Reliable battery

The AirTag lasts up to a year on a standard battery that you can easily replace yourself. Your iPhone automatically lets you know when the battery is low.

Water resistant

Don't panic if your AirTag-equipped keys fall into a puddle or get wet — the AirTag is water-resistant and can withstand it just fine.
